Report From Zambian CPx Outreach Team
As the Zambia team enters the final weeks of their outreach, they witness miraculous breakthroughs with locals.
Our CPx Outreach team here in Zambia is doing great and the Lord is giving us breakthroughs with the people we are reaching out to. Last week, as individuals we thought of fasting after sensing that we needed some breakthroughs with certain individuals we are ministering to. Each one of us personally did that and the Lord touched His people’s hearts .They are so excited about the simple church.
We have continued spending our nights in the village because we feel the need to connect with them and model how simple church works. While spending time with them, we sing together, pray together and eat together. Its been great just to see them asking questions about certain things that they don’t understand in the Bible as we interact and discuss with them. We also had our first T4T (Training for Trainers - to equip local leaders to lead new church plants) meeting with people of peace in Maloni Village. Jorg and Yod explained to the people just how the simple church operates and it was great to know that ‘people of peace’ understood it and where excited about it.
We also had a opportunity to pray for a demon possessed woman by the name of Violet in Muke Village and she got delivered in Jesus’ name. It was great to see her so joyful and released from the power of the evil one. Everyone of us marveled at God’s greatness and what He did for her. Her husband had a backache problem too and he got healed after we prayed for him.
Our Bible studies are going well as we believe that the people are learning and excited about a new way of doing church. Most of them thought church was a building and a Sunday meeting so we are happy to be introducing them to this new way of following God.
