Coaching at All Nations Cape Town

We really value coaching at All Nations Cape Town. It’s something we’ve found to be helpful for all of our members — having someone to meet with regularly who is invested in your life and is cheering you on to success is invaluable. It’s often meant the difference between merely surviving on the field versus fully thriving.

So what is coaching? Coaching actively guides the field worker towards a plan, calling them to action and then holding them graciously accountable to that plan.

Mentoring is pouring in and coaching is pulling out. We do both in coaching, but our main role is to work with the Holy Spirit in a discovery process. We ask good questions that pull out wisdom and direction for the field worker’s ministry.

At All Nations, we coach with a focus on disciple making and church planting within the specific context and calling of each worker. That means that each person’s coaching time looks different as they focus on goals that the field worker would like to reach. The coach with meet with or call the person they are coaching regularly, asking them how they are doing in life and ministry and praying with them.

Coaching is a key way that we care for and support the members of All Nations Cape Town around the world. The members of our team at the hub in Cape Town meet regularly (mostly online or on the phone) with our field workers to help them be healthy, sustainable and successful workers in the ministry to which God has called them. Some of our field workers also coach other field workers, sharing their wisdom and experience with others in similar situations.

We love to support our members well through coaching as they make disciples and raise up leaders wherever they are!
