Job opportunities at All Nations Cape Town
Here at All Nations Cape Town, we are looking for new people to join our team. The following are specific needs that we have at the moment.
Media and marketing specialist
We are looking for a good communicator, through both written and visual means, to share about what God is doing through All Nations Cape Town. This person would be responsible for finding and telling stories about our field workers throughout the world, as well as making known the needs of ANCT and how people can be involved. They would manage our social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram and possibly Twitter), as well as sending out an email newsletter and updating the Web site. There are opportunities to be trained in these platforms if someone lacks experience in a few of these areas.
Conversely, we also have a place for someone for whom written communication isn’t their strength but they have graphic design skills. This person would work with the Communications director to make written content visually appealing.
This person would be part of the ANCT hub team, a group of people focused on mobilizing, training, sending and supporting our All Nations field workers from Cape Town. The hub team usually meets and works together on the All Nations property in Noordhoek, Cape Town, but a lot of work can also be done remotely or from home. During the COVID-19 pandemic, all meetings have been online.
This person could also take on other roles within the hub team’s other functions of training, sending and supporting, so this is a great position for learning about how a missions organization functions or for those who are not experienced with cross-cultural ministry themselves. This person would need to raise their own support as this is a volunteer position.
Missionary support specialist
We are looking for someone with a heart for caring for missionaries. Ideally, they would have been cross-cultural workers themselves, but if not they should have experience with one-on-one intentional discipleship, pastoral care, counseling, or debriefing. This person will be paired with field workers to connect with weekly for meetings to find out how they are doing in their personal life and work, help them overcome their challenges and pray with them. A lot of this will take place over the phone or video chat, but when field workers visit Cape Town there would also be opportunities for more in-depth in-person debriefings. There are opportunities for training in debriefing as well as church planting coaching.
