Local leaders in Malawi
One of the important aspects of CPx is: ‘raising local leaders’ asking God to highlight those that are ready to share the Gospel with others, that in turn will do the same.
Graciously, we see this happen in Malawi, where the Gospel is being shared abundantly.
People are not only responding in the moment, they’re choosing to continue the journey with follow-up and DBS groups.
One of the access ministries that is being used there is in the area of healthcare.
Meet Gladson
He’s one of our leaders in Malawi, specifically the Dedza district.
‘One of our MBB’s has been asked not to draw water together with the cousins because she was converted..’
This is one of the prayer requests we got from our Brother Gladson in Malawi. He continued his message by saying: ‘The issue is in the hands of the Group Village Headman. Let’s pray for God’s intervention.’
This still is a reality today for MBB’s (Muslim Background Believers) around the world and into Africa.
Join us, and Brother Gladson, in prayer today for those that are converted and facing difficulties. Our prayer is that God would intervene and continue with power through work that is already happening.
‘After taking the measurements I shared the Gospel..’
One effective ‘access ministry’ here in Malawi is: healthcare. By doing something as simple as asking people to take their blood pressure, check their body temperature or measure eye sight, we are provided with an open door for conversation. We use this opportunity to share the Gospel and invite people to join our Discovery Bible Study Groups (DBS).
We have had the opportunity to not only share the Gospel but also provide ‘the Laborers’ - as we like to call the new believers, with bibles in their own language.
