Train and Equip

In one of our last posts we mentioned that the first discovery bible studies (DBS’s) started in adjacent villages. The first DBS we had in the furthest village started with four people. In our last week in the village we spend a lot of time training and equipping the two leaders of these two DBS’s. We met with them a couple times. We explained:  why we are doing church, why we train and we equipped them on how to lead a DBS. We also asked a translator to translate the DBS guidelines into Malagasy, so it can be easily understood.As we focus on training and equipping leaders in these home churches, another DBS has started in the nearby hotel. The owner of this hotel started the DBS in her hotel, which five women joined.
