CPx is happening at Africa House!

By Julianna Jones

One of our primary activities at All Nations Cape Town is training and equipping followers of Jesus to bring the Gospel to the least, the last and the lost. Through training events, we identify and equip leaders who will be sent out to disciple others and work toward igniting church planting movements.

Our flagship training program is Church Planting Experience (CPx) and it includes in-person training for about three weeks followed by a 9-month internship in the field.

We had to cancel our CPx that we’d planned for March 2020 because of the pandemic. Owing to changing lockdown regulations, we haven’t been able to host an in-person CPx since then. But that all changes next week! We will have about 15 students for CPx at Africa House 1-17 September.

Most of our students are coming from South Africa or Mozambique and we are so excited to see what the Lord has in store for these leaders. Our hope is that they will catch the vision for movements toward Jesus (if they haven’t already) and go back to their communities where they will work toward discipleship and movements.

“It is a course designed to equip and serve those who say YES to the call of Jesus to make disciples, plant churches and believe Him for movement among the lost and neglected in the nations,” explained Rika Boersma, ANCT director of training. “Why? So His glory, His fame, will spread over the earth as the waters cover the sea. So that on that day that Revelations tells us about, more will be added to the multitude worshiping before the throne crying out, ‘Worthy is the Lamb!’”

Our training team at ANCT is busy this week with final preparations for the students. The students will stay at the Living Hope team house in Noordhoek and all the classroom training will take place at All Nations’ Africa House. The planning team is led by Rika and includes Brandon Jones, Llewellyn Oliver, and Gawie Malherbe, but the whole hub team is pitching in in various ways.

We are strictly observing Covid safety protocols for this training, but we would appreciate prayer that everyone will stay healthy for the duration of the event! Please also pray with us for the students to hear from God during their time here and be launched back to their ministry locations with renewed vision.
