We believe that investing in the next generation is of great importance!
We want to see today’s children grow up to become confident men and woman who know their identity in Christ.
God has given these kids incredible promises. We want to create a space for the Holy Spirit to make them aware of those promises and to give courage to pursue them.
Isithembiso has been running in Masiphumelele, Cape Town for many years now. Every week Isithembiso is gathering with about 30-40 kids and teenagers. We are mainly just available for the small kids at this time. We play together, talk together and are trying to bring consistency. It gives us as staff opportunity to intercede for them and speak words of encouragement.
We invite the teenagers to talk about their bigger questions in life. We’re discovering together what answers God has given to these questions. We’re praying and trusting that the Holy Spirit will do a shaping and lasting work in their lives during these times.

ISITHEMBISO CAMP
Every year we gather up the children that we are impacting through the year in Masiphumelele, and taken them away to a beautiful campground during their winter break. Each year our time at camp with these children is a very special time of meeting with God, being loved, growing in friendship and having lots of fun!
ISITHEMBISO EDUCATION FUND
Although the foundation of our work is to cultivate lives that follow Jesus, we have become so aware that education changes lives and helps these children fulfill the promise place in their lives by God.
In South Africa there is no such a thing as a non-fee paying education. Even in the over-stretched government schools which heavily subside school fees, access to uniforms, transport and extra curricular activities are major barriers to meaningful engagement in the journey of education.
Many times as we walk alongside the children in Isithembiso we recognise a particular opportunity to make a strategic impact on a child’s life through investing in their school fees, transport, or extra-curricular opportunities and we wanted to invite you to join us…
