First DBS

We are very excited as, two weeks ago we started the first DBS (discovery bible study) in an adjacent village. Our new friend *John opened his house for a DBS. A week before the DBS we shared the gospel with him and he invited his friends to come. There were about twelve people.For more than two hours we shared about God’s Story and had a lot of questions and discussion. We asked them to join us in another DBS at his house a week later. The DBS was attended by three people and we learnt about repent and believe in Luke 18:9-14. We read this story three times in the Malagasy Bible and then we asked them to re-tell the story two times.As we taught about DBS, we explained to them the vision in every step of DBS. They enjoyed that we as a church could learn to love God, people and the lost through a bible study and that everyone could participate.We will also do our first DBS in the furthest village this Sunday, 6 km from our village. A couple living in that village has opened their house for a bible study and we expect about 4-5 people to join.Please keep praying for us to focus in this last month on making disciples (visit them more often, equip them, share with them, and teach them to lead a DBS) of those we have started to build relationship with and that we will not be distracted by anything.*John is not his real name.
